Last Night in Paris

Place de la Concorde ferris wheel

We began our last night in Paris with dinner at Equinox, our favorite restaurant.  Located at the end of our street, it serves fantastic three course dinners for 15 euro, which is CHEAP for Paris.  After dinner we took the metro to Place de la Concorde to get a good-by look at the sparkling Eiffel Tower.   Place de la Concorde was nearly deserted (it was cold) but it was clear, so we had a beautiful view when the tower performed its five minute twinkle.

Heading home, we wandered the neighborhood a bit and took pictures of Leon de Bruxelles, our favorite mnssels restaurant, and the Place de la Bastille.  Then it was back to the apartment to finish packing,  sad to be leaving beautiful Paris, our home away from home for a wonderful month.
